Man Arrested for Brandishing Handgun in Key Largo Road Rage Incident

A 39-year-old man from Davie was arrested in Key Largo after an incident of road rage. The man, identified as Christopher Edward Domes, allegedly pointed a handgun at other drivers during the incident. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office charged Domes with aggravated assault and improper exhibition of a firearm following the incident at the Key Largo Kampground & Marina at around 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to deputies, Domes followed two victims into the campground at a high speed, driving recklessly and brandishing a loaded 9mm handgun. He reportedly threatened to kill both victims while they were in the check-in lane. Fortunately, no shots were fired, and no injuries were reported. Domes was taken into custody and booked into jail.
