Ibai Llanos recovers his YouTube channel after being hacked

The channel on the Ibai Llanos YouTube platform has returned to normal after it suffered a cyberattack on Sunday. The content creator has explained in a video what happened and has attributed the “hacking” to “some Greeks” who were trying to scam bitcoins.

The attackers deleted all the videos of the Spanish streamer and made it appear that the Llanos channel was that of Tesla, a well-known company owned by Elon Musk, posting a video of him during a presentation of his Cyber ??Truck.

Ibai explained that on Sunday morning he discovered that he had lost access to his YouTube channel, which has 10.5 million followers, and how it later transformed to match Tesla’s.

As stated by the Basque content creator, the goal of the “hackers” was to “try to scam people” through the comment window, which included several internet addresses that led to a deception with cryptocurrencies.

Finally, about ten minutes after the start of the attack, the editor of the Ibai Llanos account was able to stop the video, which was active “very little”, and from that moment the channel appeared empty, but not because they had deleted its content, but rather because they had put it in private access.

Ibai Llanos has highlighted that, from the outset, he reported the cyberattack on all his networks to alert his followers and contacted YouTube, both to stop the scam attempt and to recover the channel.

In fact, Ibai vehemently lashed out at Musk by denouncing the situation. “That you hacked my YouTube channel is something that pisses me off Elon Musk. You screwed my Sunday asshole,” he wrote on his Twitter account.
