A former employee of Pattonville High School in Maryland Heights, Missouri has been arrested for engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a student. The accused, 45-year-old Corey Lewis, was working as a permanent substitute teacher and coach at the school when the incident took place.
Reports indicate that Lewis had an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old student between August 2012 and December 2013. As a result, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has filed felony charges against Lewis. He is facing one count of second-degree statutory rape and five counts of sexual contact with a student.
