Despite the ongoing conflict, G7 leaders reaffirmed their unwavering support for Ukraine’s fight for sovereignty, freedom, and territorial integrity. They condemned Russia as the main obstacle to achieving a just and lasting peace in the region.
While Russia continues to make gains along the frontlines, Zelensky criticized a recent phone call between German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Russian President Vladimir Putin, suggesting that it could undermine efforts to isolate Putin. He also expressed concern over the slow delivery of weapons to Ukraine to counter Russian advances.
