Charging the mobile can start to be a task in an instant. Realme has introduced its new high-end model, the GT3, which uses the fastest charging system in the world. The 240 W of its charger get the battery to go from 0 to 100% capacity in less than ten minutes: 9.30. This is the maximum that charging can achieve with the USB-C connection standard.

Realme says it is responding in this way to the anguish caused in many users by the charging time of their mobile at times when they need it. The Realme GT3 only needs 10 seconds to get a 3% charge and 80 seconds to reach 20% of the 4,600 mAh battery capacity. And to achieve this, it is not enough to put the brute force of a powerful charger.

The Chinese company has explained in the MWC presentation area that it has used three technologies in the new model. First of all, the architecture. The GT3 incorporates three maximum power charging chipsets that guarantee electrical energy transfer efficiency during 98.5% of the charging process. In addition, it uses a special cable for this purpose and a GaN charger, made of gallium nitride, a material that offers very little resistance to the passage of electric current and prevents heating. As a result, the charger is much smaller than usual for one of that power.

To ensure safety, the Realme GT2 has a liquid cooling system that covers 61.5% of the battery and allows good heat dissipation. The mobile has a fireproof design and is equipped with 13 temperature sensors and 60 layers of security protection. It has a TÜV Rheinland certification for safe charging system.

The company ensures that, despite the extreme speed of charging, the system does not deteriorate the battery. In Realme’s own laboratory tests, the GT3 showed an 80% lifespan after 1,600 charge cycles at maximum power. In just three years, the Chinese manufacturer has gone from a 65 W charge with its X7 model to the maximum of 240 W that it has presented at the MWC.

In addition to charging at lightning speeds, the Realme GT3 has a C-shaped lighting ring at the rear, next to the photo module. A transparent window allows you to see a metal plate of your Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 5G chip. It is not the most advanced of the moment, but it is a powerful processor from last year.

The bright interface can be customized to notify you, for example, of certain notifications when the screen is upside down. It has 25 color tones, two kinds of rhythm, and five lighting speed modes. Some examples: when a call comes in, the light flashes quickly, with notifications, it is white, the 3-second countdown for photos is orange.

The screen of the Realme GT3 is 6.74 inches, AMOLED and with 10 bits of color depth (one billion colors). Its 50-megapixel main camera is complemented by a 2-megapixel 20 and 40-magnification microscope and another 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle. It has dual stereo speakers compatible with Dolby Atmos and a hidden camera detection system in a room. The starting price for its configuration of 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage will be $649.
