Homestead, Florida – A man was arrested by Homestead Police on Monday after an attempted abduction in the area. The incident took place at the Homestead Pavilion on 2400 Northeast 10th Court, where officials received a report about a suspicious male. The suspect used a common tactic by approaching a resident and asking for help with his wife, which was similar to a previous case from last week.

The suspect, identified as 56-year-old David Gross Andersen, was taken into custody after probable cause was established. It was later discovered that Andersen was also involved in an attempted kidnapping at the Town Square Plaza on North Homestead Boulevard. Additionally, he had an outstanding felony warrant for check fraud.

Authorities have charged Andersen with loitering, attempted kidnapping, and other related offenses. This arrest sheds light on the importance of staying vigilant and reporting any suspicious activity to law enforcement.
