AppleTV has suddenly announced a new increase in its rates, as can be seen on the official website of the streaming service. This movement confirms the trend of increasing rates in the sector started by Netflix and followed by Disney.
The price increase does not only apply to the streaming service. Apple Arcade and all Apple One modalities (individual, family and premium) will also cost more.
But the service where the increase will be most noticeable will be Apple TV: the streaming platform increases by three euros and goes from €6.99 to €9.99 per month. It is the second price increase for the service in two years, which means that the streaming market loses what until now was one of the most interesting offers due to its moderate rates and the content it offered.
The Apple Arcade video game subscription service goes from 4.99 to 6.99 euros per month. For its part, the Apple One service package will change its prices upwards, leaving the price of the individual modality at 19.95 euros, which will include Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Arcade and 50 GB of iCloud storage.
The Apple One Family package will increase by three euros and will now cost 25.95 euros per month and can be used with five family members at a time plus an extended storage of 200 gigabytes in iCloud and the Premium will climb to 34.95 euros per month with 2 TB capacity.
