Prime Minister Dick Schoof labeled the attacks as terrible and horrific, expressing his shame over the incidents. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu compared the attacks to Kristallnacht and emphasized the need for swift action against the perpetrators. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar traveled to the Netherlands to address the situation and called for severe punishment for those responsible.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the anti-Arab chants and attacks on Palestinian symbolism, urging the Dutch government to protect Palestinians and Arabs in the Netherlands. Security measures are being reviewed for future Israeli team sporting events in Europe, with a focus on enhancing cooperation with local authorities.

In response to the incident, calls have been made in France to relocate the upcoming match between the French and Israeli national soccer teams. However, France’s Interior Minister emphasized that France will not back down in the face of threats of violence and antisemitism. UEFA has announced the relocation of a Europa League match between Maccabi Tel Aviv and a Turkish football team to a neutral venue.
