New Locations for Chicago Reader Print Edition!

In a recent internal audit conducted by the Chicago Reader in the summer of 2024, the beloved publication has made changes to its distribution locations to better meet the demands of its readers. If you’re wondering where to find the print edition of the Chicago Reader, fret not, as we have exciting news for you!

49 New Locations Added

The Reader has expanded its reach to 49 new locations on the south and west sides of Chicago. You can now find print issues of the paper in neighborhoods such as Englewood, North Lawndale, Austin, Chinatown, Garfield Park, Humboldt Park, Little Village, and West Englewood. These new locations aim to bring the paper closer to where the demand is highest, ensuring that you can easily access your favorite publication.

Changes to Multi-Rack Boxes

The City of Chicago has made adjustments to the multi-rack newspaper boxes at Midway Airport, and similar boxes in the South Loop, downtown, and Near North areas have been removed as of August 21, 2024. The Chicago Reader has adapted its drop-off amounts near these locations to ensure that readers in these neighborhoods still have access to the same number of newspapers.

Upcoming Print Issue

Mark your calendars for the next print issue of the Chicago Reader, scheduled for December 12, 2024. Distribution to locations will begin on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, so make sure to grab your copy early!
