USC gets just 7 points in AP Top 25 voting

USC received seven points in the latest Associated Press men’s basketball poll, placing it seventh among “others receiving votes.”

The Trojans are riding a season-long four-game losing streak after they were swept in a two-game set at Arizona and Arizona State.

Last week, USC received 10 points. It was last ranked in the Top 25 in January.

Before falling to the Sun Devils, 83-82, on Sunday, the Trojans led by six points with 30 seconds to play. The loss could hamper the Trojans’ NCAA Tournament hopes, putting them among the “bubble” teams for the field of 68.

USC, at 21-8 overall and 8-8 in the Pac-12, concludes the regular season with a homestand against Washington State on Wednesday night and Washington on Saturday.
