The Organizing Committee of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games puts new tickets on sale this Thursday, of which 95% will be for events in the Ile-de-France region (to which the country’s capital belongs) and 45 % will cost less than 100 euros.

The Olympic event will be held from July 26 to August 11 and the Paralympic event will be held from August 28 to September 8. The organization of the Games pointed out that there will be several “surprise” phases of ticket sales on the website tickets.paris2024.org, the first of them this Thursday starting at 10 a.m. Each of them will be announced a few days in advance and will allow you to buy tickets for all the sports of the Games.

This means that it is still possible to attend equestrian competitions in the gardens of the Castle of Versailles, judo in the Campo de Marte Arena with the Eiffel Tower in the background, breakdancing – which will debut as an Olympic sport – in the Place de la Concordia, tennis at Roland Garros and fencing under the majestic nave of the Grand Palais.

For this Thursday, tickets will be offered in all sports, although some of them in very limited quantities. The sale will be open to everyone, without a draw and on a first-come, first-served basis. A maximum of 30 Olympic tickets can be purchased with the same account, including previous orders.

This time new tickets go on sale for the four Paris 2024 ceremonies, in particular for the closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games at the Stade de France, Saint-Denis, on September 8 from 45 euros.

Even before the new tickets go on sale this Thursday, tickets for team sports in the provinces are already available daily on the official sales website (tickets.paris2024.org).

Thus, men’s and women’s football tickets can be purchased in Nantes, Lyon, Saint-Etienne, Bordeaux, Nice and Marseille from 24 euros. Basketball tickets cost from 50 euros and handball tickets from 45 euros. The organization has already sold just under eight million of the 10 million tickets it will put on sale for the Olympic Games.

Ticket sales for the Paris Paralympic Games are permanently open at tickets.paris2024.org. With 23 podiums on the first day of competition, the Paralympic calendar gives a privileged place to the night finals so that as many people as possible can attend them.

Tickets are available for all sports from 15 euros, such as athletics at the Stade de France, wheelchair tennis at Roland Garros, blind football at the foot of the Eiffel Tower and track cycling at the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Velodrome.

Some sold-out sessions will also be put back on sale, such as wheelchair fencing competitions, taking place in the sumptuous surroundings of the Grand Palais. As in the Olympic Games, places dedicated to people with special needs are set up.
