At the beginning of this week, thieves robbed the house that RCD Espanyol player Keita Baldé owns in the Barcelona town of Arenys de Mar after locking his mother in a room in the house.

Sources from the Mossos have confirmed to EFE the information provided by El Caso about this robbery on the 11th in a house in a luxury development in the aforementioned town, an event for which Baldé, a Senegalese soccer player, has filed the corresponding complaint.

The thieves, apparently three, took several objects that the player had in a safe, including luxury watches. The Catalan police have opened an investigation to try to locate the perpetrators, and do not rule out that they are part of a gang from Eastern European countries.

Baldé is in Andorra with Espanyol to play against the Principality team this Saturday corresponding to matchday 20 of the Hypermotion League. The striker was a substitute in the parakeets’ last match against Zaragoza, which ended in a draw (1-1) at the Stage Front Stadium.
