Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge drove in New York’s first run with a fielder’s choice in the first inning, and also showed off his arm in right as the Yankees defeated the Baltimore Orioles 4-1 Monday afternoon.

Judge threw out Hyun Soo Kim at second base after Kim tried to turn a single into a double.

Chad Green started for the Yankees and allowed one hit and walked a batter in two innings. Green is competing for one of the two vacant slots in New York’s rotation.

Minor League infielder Thairo Estrada hit a three-run ninth-inning home run to give the Yankees the lead.

Ubaldo Jimenez started for the Orioles and allowed one run on two hits in two innings in his first Grapefruit League start.

Jonathan Schoop, in his final game before leaving Orioles camp to join the Netherlands for the World Baseball Classic, hit a long third-inning homer for Baltimore’s only run.

Astros 5, Mets 2: Asdrubal Cabrera opened the bottom of the first inning with a home run and Wilmer Flores hit a tiebreaking solo shot in the seventh, but Houston rallied with four runs in the ninth for the victory. Mets starter P.J. Conlon did not allow any runs, but closer Jeurys Familia gave up Jose Altuve’s single in his spring debut. Familia is slated to pitch for the Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic.

Cardinals 7, Red Sox 2: Jose Martinez, who is trying to win a bench spot for the Cardinals, clubbed a pair of two-run homers to fuel his split squad to a victory over Boston. For Boston, Xander Bogaerts drilled two hits in his final game before departing to Korea on Tuesday to join the Netherlands in the World Baseball Classic. Veteran outfielder Chris Young also had two hits, including a double off the Green Monster at Jet Blue Park in Fort Myers, Fla. Mitch Moreland added two hits and an RBI.
