Granada and Real Madrid face each other this Saturday on matchday 35 of LaLiga EA Sports at the Nuevo Los Cármenes stadium. The Andalusian comes into the game having faced Sevilla and Osasuna, while Ancelotti’s team played their last league games against Cádiz and Real Sociedad.

Real Madrid, already champion of the League with dates in advance, visits a Granada that is in the relegation zone, so it will be a match to fulfill the calendar obligation.

After mathematically confirming the league title, Real Madrid will receive the trophy as champion. The Football Federation will give it to the winning team in Ancelotti’s next match, so the celebration would begin at the Los Cármenes stadium in Granada.

The whites have refused, transmitting to the RFEF their refusal to receive the champion trophy in the Nasrid team’s field, since they consider it “a lack of respect for Granada and its fans.”

Finally, Real Madrid will receive the trophy as champion of the 2023-24 League twice: once this Sunday, May 12, behind closed doors in Valdebebas and another in the match against Deportivo Alavés. Pedro Rocha, president of the Federation, will present the title at an event in which the entire Madrid team will be present, at around 9:30 am. In this way, the whites will have possession of the trophy in Sunday’s celebrations.

The match between Granada and Real Madrid, corresponding to matchday 35 of LaLiga EA Sports, will be played this Saturday, May 11, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting can be seen on the DAZN platform and can also be followed live through the La Vanguardia website.
