Max Verstappen, who has been dominating the season, is looking to defend his home turf, bolstered by his recent crushing victory at the Belgian GP at Spa-Francorchamps. With 314 points and 10 wins to his credit, Verstappen seems to be at an unreachable level, even for his own teammate Sergio ‘Checo’ Pérez, who trails him with 189 points.
Below the energy drink squad is an intense showdown for third place in the leaderboard between two F1 legends in Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso. With 148 and 149 points respectively, each of these riders is on the verge of consolidating or losing their place on the world podium.
