The Formula 1 World Championship lands this weekend at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar, the seventeenth race of the championship dominated by the Red Bull team, which already won the constructors’ world championship in the last Japanese Grand Prix held in Suzuka. Max Verstappen arrives in Qatar knowing that he has everything he can to win his third title in the premier class.

Despite the Dutchman’s dominance, this season the world championship is not very tight between the other drivers. Currently Lewis Hamilton is third with 190 points and 16 ahead of Fernando Alonso (174 points) who had the goal of finishing the world championship ahead of his former teammate. Just 24 points below the man from Oviedo and in fifth position is his compatriot Carlos Sainz (150 points).

To win his third title, Max Verstappen only needs to score three points at the Losail circuit. He depends on himself and would not have to wait until Sunday to celebrate the world championship, since with only these three points he could do it in the sprint race on Saturday.
