Carlos Alcaraz will face Stéfanos Tsitsipas this Tuesday in the quarterfinals of Roland Garros, after forcefully beating the Italian Lorenzo Musetti (6-3, 6-2 and 6-2) in 2 hours and 8 minutes and qualifying for this round of the tournament for the second time in his career.

The Murcian tennis player will now face Hellenic, fifth in the world, who qualified for the quarterfinals of Roland Garros this Sunday for the third time after defeating the Austrian Sebastian Ofner, coming from the previous phase (7-5, 6-3 and 6-0).

Tsitsipas, twice a semifinalist in Paris and a finalist in 2021, will face an Alcaraz that has won the four previous duels, the last one a few weeks ago in the final of the Open Banc Sabadell – Conde de Godó in Barcelona. It will be the seventh quarterfinal for the Greek, who will fight to be in his fifth semifinal.

Alcaraz, current number one in the ATP ranking and one of the great favorites to win the Musketeers Cup, has reached the quarterfinals of Roland Garros with a great level and after losing only one set.

The tennis player from El Palmar is getting closer to starring in one of the matches of this edition: the semifinal match against the Serbian Novak Djokovic, who is advancing firmly on the same side of the draw.
