A 24-year-old footballer from Móstoles CF's senior B team dies during training

Móstoles CF announced this Saturday that one of its Senior B category players, Mardoche Luzolo Nsimba, 24, died suddenly during training yesterday Friday at the Soto soccer fields in the Madrid town.

“We are heartbroken after the tragic death of M.L.N, a Senior B player during training on Friday. Official mourning is decreed and the weekend day is postponed in all categories. Rest in peace,” the club reported through its social networks.

Although the club has not reported the exact cause of the player’s death, it is known that it occurred suddenly while he was training on Friday afternoon.

From the City Council of Móstoles they have conveyed their condolences to the family of the deceased player through their social networks: “Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.” In addition, he reported that “the club has declared official mourning for the entire day, so they are suspending all their matches.”

In February 2022, Mostoleño football also encountered sad news after the murder of one of its young footballers. It was about a 15-year-old young man, Jaime Guerrero, who was violently murdered on Atocha Street in Madrid and who played for the Cadete A team of the CD Móstoles URJC.

Jaime’s friends and family then assured that he did not belong to any gang and that he was out with some friends on Saturday afternoon when he was caught in a fight between two groups.
