The front that has brought precipitation in the northwest of the peninsula has its hours numbered. The State Meteorological Agency has warned that this phenomenon will give a lull for a few hours, especially in Galicia and nearby territories.

However, on Saturday afternoon a new front will arrive with rain that will once again especially affect the Atlantic coast of the peninsula after a Friday of little rainfall.

At the end of Saturday the front will enter from the northwest, leaving intense rains in Galicia and will extend throughout Sunday, finally subsiding at the end of the day.

As for rainfall this Friday, there will be weak and scattered rains in the northwest. Also today the AEMET reports cloudy skies in the northwest half and the Balearic Islands, in addition to an episode of haze in the Canary Islands.

In addition, the AEMET also warns of persistent fog on the northern plateau and high clouds throughout the afternoon of this Friday.

The maximum temperatures drop during the day in the northwest of Galicia, something that will not happen in other parts of the territory. In Tarragona these will rise to 17ºC.
