Spain faces a week with completely winter weather. The entry of a new storm has caused this Tuesday to record a general drop in temperatures, rain in a good part of the country, snow at low levels, wind and waves, which have forced the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) to activate notices in almost all autonomous communities.
A situation that will continue for the next few days and could be worse starting next weekend, when a new storm is expected to enter, according to meteorology fan and influencer Jorge Rey, known for predicting the arrival of Philomena.
“We already announced that winter was not over and here we have it,” explains the young man in one of his usual social media videos, in which he previews the weather that day or the most notable phenomena that are yet to come.
The influencer, who records himself while walking in Burgos under the snow, warns of the warnings that are currently activated in many parts of the peninsula due to strong winds, rain and snowfall.
Rey assures that a new storm is coming for the weekend: “On Saturday we will have rain again in many parts of the country, a drop in temperatures, wintry days and snowfall that could reach cities like Burgos, Soria, Segovia and Ávila” .
Given this forecast, the young man asks all his followers to be “cautious.” In addition, he recommends being attentive to successive updates, to avoid problems when traveling by road, which could be complicated by rain or snow.
