This Friday’s day will be characterized by mostly cloudy skies in general, with possible brief clearings in inland areas of the eastern half during the morning. According to the Meteorological Service of Catalonia (Meteocat), towards the end of the day, it is likely that some clearings will open in areas of the western third.
During the morning until midday, light rains are expected in the western third of the country, with the possibility of precipitation in the rest of the Pyrenees and Pre-Pyrenees, as well as in the western half, and coastal, pre-coastal and central Catalonia in the afternoon. Of course, according to the maps, rain seems like it will not be present in Barcelona.
The sky in Barcelona will be cloudy throughout the day. The temperatures will be similar to yesterday’s day, with minimums of 14 degrees and maximums of 17, and the wind will blow with greater intensity at the beginning and end of the day, reaching 13 km/h.
During the afternoon, rainfall is expected to concentrate in the coastal, pre-coastal and Pyrenean areas, especially on the northern slope. In the Pyrenees, the snow level will drop from 2,200 to 2,000 meters in the morning, with an additional decrease in the western sector to 1,800 meters and on the northern slope to 1,600 meters.
There will be a moderate drop in maximum temperatures, especially in interior areas. Visibility will be mostly good to fair in general, although it could deteriorate locally in the Pyrenees throughout the day, especially on its northern slope. During the first half of the day, reduced visibility is also expected on the northern coast and pre-coast, as well as in other elevated areas of the eastern half and northern third.
Regarding the wind, at the beginning and end of the day, it is expected to be light and variable in its direction in general, with moments of easterly and northerly components on the coast. However, during the rest of the day, the north and east wind will predominate, with varying intensities between light and moderate on the northern coast and pre-coast.
On the central coast and pre-coast, as well as in the rest of the northern third, the wind will be light and variable. In other areas of the territory, a light west wind, occasionally moderate, is expected.
