The general secretary of the PSPV-PSOE, Ximo Puig, has announced that he will present to each Ministry of the new Government of Pedro Sánchez a report with the main demands of the Community and “in light of the resignation of functions” of the president of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, and its Consell, “the socialists will give voice to the Valencian agenda.”

This was stated by Ximo Puig this Sunday in a statement on the occasion of the event organized by the PSOE in Madrid, in which he defended that “to implement the Valencian agenda we must work outside but also from within, something that the Consell de Mazón not doing”. Also present at the Madrid event was the Government delegate, Pilar Bernabé, as well as the socialist spokesperson in the Valencia City Council, Sandra Gómez.

In this sense, the leader of the Valencian socialists has indicated that “Mazón and his far-right partners cannot forget what their obligations are and simply look towards Madrid,” in a statement sent by the party.

“They have forgotten what their responsibility is and in recent months have made a considerable abandonment of functions,” insisted Puig, who stressed that “in the face of this inaction from the PSPV-PSOE we are going to configure, from day one, a powerful action of relationship with all Ministries.”

Likewise, Puig celebrated that “we have a legitimate Government that is going to support a social agenda that is now fundamental” and stressed that Spain “needs a vision of serenity and stability.”

Finally, he lamented that “the Spanish right has a patrimonial vision of Spain as if feeling Spanish was something for a few: Spain is a plural and diverse project.”
