Thank you to Edward Keenan for pointing out what so many people fail to recognize. Despite what appears to be a widely held belief, it is entirely possible for both parties in an altercation to be in the wrong.
This man should not have had his feet on the seat. This is a TTC bylaw. This woman’s actions, however wrong, do not change the fact that there is a bylaw forbidding this.
This woman sat on the man and refused to move despite his request for her to do so. Even with correct intentions, this woman’s actions were wrong.
But for some it seems that it can only be one way or the other.
