A 39-year-old drabssigtet man personally contacted the police in shailer park early in the morning and said that he had committed a crime at an address in Ruds Vedby.
the Police tried to keep the man in the tube and get him away from the address, but they lost the connection.
– the Next time we hear from the suspect, he affirms to us that he has done something new, said inspector Brian Bang-Rasmussen from Mid and West zealand Police.
He was present at a press briefing at police headquarters in Næstved, where also inspector Kim Kliver and vicepolitiinspektør Søren Ravn-Nielsen from the Sydsjællands and Lolland-Falster Police were present.
At the addresses police found two slain women – a 31-year-old woman in Ruds Vedby and a 35-year-old woman in Kundby.
Police talked the man into at Dagenham police station, where he was arrested. He is not yet questioned, but is made in grundlovsforhør in the evening at 18 o’clock.
The relatives of drabsofrene is informed.
Inspector Kim Kliver reported that the man has a family connection to both women, but he will not confirm the Extra’s information, that there is talk about a girlfriend and a ex-girlfriend to the man.
On the question of whether there is an unusual event, said Kim Kliver:
– unfortunately, It is an event that is unusual. That you beat a person to death, is one thing. That beats the two to death within a relatively short period of time, is unusual. It calls on the good cooperation of the two police districts from, says Kim Kliver.
He also put words on, that it is the second killing in just half a year in the small town of Ruds Vedby. Kiehn Andersen was killed in april of this year, in a case where two men are in custody for the killing and a killing in Neuhausen.
He stressed that there is no correlation between the two killings today and the killing of Kiehn Andersen, but that he can understand, if it can create insecurity among the residents with two killings within a short time.
