The past week has been hard for the former ‘Ex on the Beach’-participant Michelle Wind Koldkur. Here she had to namely kill the 13-year-old rottweiler, Maggie, as the 24-year-old Michelle has had in seven years.
It has been far from easy for Michelle, who is crushed by grief. To the Extra Magazine, she tells, however, that she had not a second choice.
– She had for some time been suffering with arthritis in the knees and eventually had so great pain, that she refused to get up. We had tried everything from oil, massage and strong painkillers, but nothing helped. So there was no way out, saith the realitydeltageren.
She therefore took the decision to call the vet to get Maggie killed.
Maggie was a very obedient and loyal dog. So when she suddenly would not travel, when you called – and instead screamed of the pain – I knew that the time was right, but it was certainly not with my good will, says Michelle, who has had the dog in his entire adult life.

the Call to the vet was hard for realitydeltageren, but Michelle knows she made the right decision.
– I was completely devastated and could hardly have belonged to any words out, as we talked with the vet.
– I comfort myself with the fact that it was the only right – both under the guidance of the vet, and what I could see. If I had kept her longer, it would have been selfish and only for my own sake, says Michelle.
It does not mean, however, that the time after has been easier for the ’Ex on the Beach’-baben.
– I’ve had it completely terrible. I eat badly, don’t go out and just have a hard time to process it. Those who have had such a loyal, four-legged friend for so many years, know what I mean.

For a daily form she couple with Kasper Klausen, as tv viewers have met in ‘Ex on the Beach’ and ‘Paradise Hotel’. He is a great support for Michelle, although he also is the mark of the killing.
– Kasper are of course sorry that she is gone, but he takes it much nicer than me. He has not so many memories and years of experience, as I have with her, says Michelle.
the Pair has earlier this year made the puppy Kenya to a part of the family, but it is not certain that it will remain the family’s only four-legged member.
– I do not exclude, that there will be a new dog at a time. Right now do we with Kenya. I just find profit in my everyday life again, tells the sad Michelle.
