TDC’s ceo, Allison Kirkby, leaving the TDC in favor of a position as director at Telia.

Kirkby took over the helm at TDC for just 11 months ago, and she resigns with immediate effect.
According to the TDC, she has in the 11 months, among other things, had the good luck to get progress in relation to the company’s strategic ambition to invest in the national digital infrastructure.

Although her tenure was brief, leaving the she organization, which strategically is in a better position and is ready for the further progress in our mission to build and support an innovative, open model to connect the whole of Denmark to the future of digital opportunities, says the chairman of the board Bert Nordberg in a press release.
the TDC’s board of directors is now gone on the hunt for a new director. In the meantime, the current vice chairman, Mike Parton, will take over as acting director.

Before she came to TDC had Kirkby, among other things, been director of the Swedish telecommunications company Tele2, where she also had been cfo.
She replaced last year Pernille Erenbjerg, which had been sitting in the TDC’s “director’s chair” since 2015.
