Today beats Karla record: She is the oldest ever

Although any day is a celebration worth, when you are well up in age, so can an age of 111 years and 197 days might seem like a random day to celebrate.

But it is just as old, Karla Lindholm Jensen from Herning has been in the day. And it is a very special day, because it makes her the oldest briton ever.

Karla Lindholm Jensen has lived all his life in Herning and is, according to his son, His Boy Lindholm, who today have answered the Ekstra questions on behalf of his mother, not even greatly impressed by the record, today she has turned.

Is there a secret behind such a long life?

– There is no secret, she has lived a normal life with night work and enjoyed the good things of life, so no, there is nothing there.

But she has some good advice, if you want to be as old as her?

– It depends on how old you are?

Well, I’m 80 years younger than your mother.

– Well you know what, what she would have said to a 30 year, is that one must behave properly – also opposite the other. It would probably be her best advice.

Is the high age of the something to the family?

– Yes, it does. Or no, not as much as her. Her father was 82 and her mother was 95.
