‘ All need to damn well not be perfect! Let us pay tribute to the imperfect’.

How to rounds the midwife Tina Amtrup Ekdahl from Hvidovre a post on the blog ‘lillemorblog.dk’s of. Tina – who is behind the blog – had the other day an experience in the Supermarket, for which she went to the keys:

– I went for a walk in the Supermarket and asked me really just in the shortest queue, to get on quickly. Suddenly my attention caught by this information, which completely riveted his customers, tells Tina Amtrup Ekdahl to Ekstra Bladet. On her blog becomes the subsequent development described:

‘I could not help but look a little. You were very enthusiastic in your work. You caught the customer’s attention in a completely great way. The way you small-talkede was right beundringsværtigt. An elderly lady bought the bl.a. no meat and a sweater with you.

“Well, you must have enough home to eat good food, huh?” When the jersey was the beep check, and you said; “Wow, it’s damn nice” . I’m pretty sure that she had slightly red cheeks. On the good way’, writes Tina on the blog.

Then it was her turn in the queue. She asked the friendly clerk if she could get 550 dollars over the amount, and then the atmosphere changed a bit:

‘You changed you a little, but said, however: “of Course, ma’am” all the while your eyes were now glued to the screen in front of you. You pulled the calculator up. I packed my goods. You were quiet and looked back and forth between the calculator and the display. Keyed into your calculator, deleted again, then re-typing into your calculator. the “1137kr I think it will be, if I’ve figured right!” I said gently, all the while you nodded appreciative. You looked still confused on the calculator. You waved a colleague to you. the “How do you 1137?” asked you quietly. She replied sweetly: “a-a-three-seven” . You looked apologetically at me and said: “Yes, I’m damn both dyslexic and talblind!” and laughed nervously’.

Good service is damn well not always just a I-can-suse-your-goods-through-on-4 ½ -second and finish with a “have a continued good day” in the complete same monotonous and bland tone of voice, which the other 10 who have just been through the box was exposed. So thank you to you. the Thank you because you just got me to thinking that it actually is okay that there are some things one is not mastered to a 12 numbers. But they can take it home in so many other ways. And thanks for the mega good operation!.

A reader shared Tina Amtrup Ekdahls blog posts on the Starbucks Facebook page and it has got the traffic on her blog to explode:

– There are almost 100,000 who have been inside and round my little mommy-blog. And the Supermarket has informed me that he has got the message. A few times actually. Hopefully it can help to put focus on that one not need be perfect, to do a good job. In fact, it’s perhaps a bit fatter, not to be so perfect, sounds the message from Tina Amtrup Ekdahl – read the entire blog post HERE.
