Steffen Boe Jensen and his three companions find themselves in the coastal town of Los Alcazares in Spain, where an extremely rain and a thunderstorm in the night ravaged the area.
– It is quite crazy down here, ” says Steffen Boe Jensen to Ekstra Bladet.
Since yesterday, the storm ravaged the Valencia region in Spain. Here lies the tourist destinations of Alicante and Valencia, which is the hardest hit. Four people have died as a result of the weather.

The four men thought otherwise, that they had escaped with fright.
– We thought we let go of the tempest, for it struck not at the time they had said it would hit. But the 23 o’clock it began to rain, and then it went all of a sudden the bananas, says Steffen Boe Jensen.
In the course of a short time, the streets were in Los Alcazares completely flooded, and the military was put in, says Jensen.
– We have been witness to some situations where people have been rescued from rooftops by helicopters, he says.

the Water grew faster and more intense than we had been able to expect, says Steffen Boe Jensen.
We closed not an eye in the night, because we had to keep an eye on whether we could be here, or whether we should be evacuated.
the Evacuation was, thankfully, not necessary. The men are Friday, still in their rented holiday home. Outside, the sun is turned back, and the water level dropped. But the roads are still closed.

Now, the comrades find out what they need to pass the rest of the holiday with.
– We had hoped to be able to lie by the pool and baths. But the pool has disappeared, says Steffen Boe Jensen.
– It is a big mud puddle now. You can’t bathe in it, it’s over, he says.

At Steffen Boe Jensen and his comrades are spirits in spite of everything high.
They call it here ‘one of the worst disasters in 100 years’ down here. We’ve certainly got one on the experiencer, clay Steffen Boe Jensen.
– It will be interesting, if we can come home on Monday, he says.
