ERC’s bad omen was confirmed: 20 seats compared to the 33 achieved in 2021; just over 420,000 votes compared to 603,000 three years ago. Talking about a debacle falls short. The worst result since 2010, when it obtained ten deputies.
Falling to third position is a failure for ERC, because the decline hits where it hurts most in a political party: failure in management at the head of a government. Furthermore, it leaves him with no option to repeat as head of the Generalitat. These are the ERC deputies in the next legislature:
