The PSPV will once again hold its executive telematically this Thursday, something that has not happened since the pandemic. The reason: the recommendations of the federal management to “suspend activities during the afternoon at the headquarters, whether they are gatherings, work meetings, etc.” in view of “the calls for rallies that are happening these days and because of the aggressive spirit of their calls.”

This is how the deputy and general secretary of the PSOE, José Muñoz, explained it this morning in the Les Corts plenary session, while asking the Vox deputies to “stop besieging socialist headquarters in favor of freedom.” A condemnation that the deputy of the far-right party José María Llanos has made of the violent acts.

Sources from the PSPV confirm to La Vanguardia that the meeting scheduled for Thursday will have to be telematic “as a consequence of the situation of tension in the streets promoted by the extreme right and encouraged by the PP.” In this context, they point out that “this is the only formula to maintain the political activity of the PSPV leadership.” An activity that, despite “pressure from the extreme right,” they indicate, will continue “with the sole objective of building the alternative to the most reactionary Consell in history.”

In the PSPV they understand that this is an issue that “directly affects democracy.” “It is a democratic anomaly that, for the moment, neither Mr. Mazón nor the PP have deigned to condemn.” The Valencian socialists have already recorded that a total of 15 PSPV headquarters in the Valencian Community have been surrounded.

For this reason, they demand, on the one hand, the condemnation and, on the other, that the harassment of the headquarters and militants cease. Along these lines, they explain that a few days ago, the provincial secretary of the PSPV of Castellón, Samuel Falomir, needed the escort of the Police to leave.

In this climate, in the debate in Les Corts, the trustee of Compromís, Joan Baldoví, has denounced death threats to deputy and former councilor Vicent Marzà. The Valencian spokesperson has emphasized that his party partner has come to receive bullets. And he has framed these threats in “people close to Vox”.
