The municipal government of Badalona (Barcelonès Nord) has announced this Monday, June 19, the new organizational structure of the consistory. The mayor Xavier Garcia Albiol has assured that in 48 hours he wanted to present the new organization “because Badalona cannot lose a minute”. “The structure is reduced, going from 6 to 4 mayoral positions, and we have a government made up of people who have professional experience in the private sector and others in public administration,” he added.
The structure of the new municipal government is as follows:
Juan Fernández Benítez: Treasury and Finance, Internal Resources and Sports Area. In charge of Intervention, Treasury, Patrimony, Budget Office, Works, Projects and Maintenance of Educational and Sports Equipment and Sports.
Eva Guillén Rodríguez: Human Resources Area. In charge of Planning, HR and the Internal Equality Plan in the Administration.
Juan José Portillo López: Territorial Coordination Area and councilor attached to Sports. In charge of Territorial Coordination, Municipal District Offices (OMD), Civic Centers and attached to Sports.
Vanesa González Cejudo: Education Area. In front of Education.
Odalys Sánchez Martínez: Area of ??Youth, Coexistence and Mediation. In charge of Youth, Coexistence, Mediation, Cooperation and Migrations.
