The iconic photographer is dead

the Photographer Terry O’neill passed away Saturday at the death.

It writes Sky News.

According to the O’neills agentbureau he died a quiet death at home after prolonged illness’.

Terry O’neill has photographed a large number of stars and royale. Among other things he has shot photos of The Beatles, Judy Garland, Michael Caine, Terence Stamp, The Rolling Stones, Raquel Welch and Brigitte Bardot.

He has also photographed queen Elizabeth and Nelson Mandela.

Terry O’neills work extends over five decades. In that time, he has gained close friendships with, among others, Elton John and David Bowie.

Some of his recent work consisted among other things of a portrait of the late singer Amy Winehouse in 2008.

the Photographer has also got an award named after him, namely, ‘The Terry O’neill Photography Award’.

Terry O’neill was born 30. July in 1938 in London. He was 81 years old.
