The Danish handball icon returns

Lars Christiansen is going back to SG Flensburg-Handewitt – however, not as a player.

The former Danish midfielder has been employed in the German team, which he partly to help trænerteamet in the club, and partly to play a role in the club’s management, where he among other things, to work with its partners in Denmark.

Lars Christiansen calls his new job a matter of pride.

– I was and remain a “Flensburger”. I am conscious of the responsibility in this new challenge and already have concrete ideas as to how I can optimally contribute to the already successful design.

He returned in 2010, back to Danish handball, when he completed his career with KIF Kolding.
