the Name of the merged organization will become ‘Danish Industry’, informs the Danish construction association president, Claus, Bering, to Ekstra Bladet. The Danish Construction association will be a branchefællesskab under the DI.
the President believes that the aggregation will get the organization to be stronger.
– the Danish Construction association must also in future be a strong membership organisation, providing a good service for the best price. It has been the starting point to enter into negotiations to lay together with the DI. With the merger we can get a more powerful organisation that is even stronger than for the outside world, says Claus Bering.
In the Danish Industry, you rejoice also over the prospects of a merger with the Danish Construction association.
– We are pleased that the Danish Construction association, hopefully, will be a part of the Danish Industry. The Danish Construction association representing a large and important part of business. We will get the total 17.000 companies in the country’s central business organization, and we will receive some strong skills that create greater value for all our members, ” says Lars-Peter Søbye, president of DI.
Both organizations ‘ members must now make a final decision on the proposal for the merger. The expectation is that the decision on a merger occurs in the course of June, for the Danish construction association, at an extraordinary repræsentantskabsmøde and for the DI’s, at an extraordinary general meeting, disclosed it in a press release.
