At the press conference, the activist Jordi Pesarrodona recalled the anniversary of the police searches in several departments in 2017, which were held on September 20, and highlighted the importance of the CDR in carrying out the referendum on September 1 -EITHER. Pesarrodona has called for participation in these demonstrations to “recover strength in the streets” and “counteract” the repression.
At the press conference, lawyer César Lagonigro pointed out that the amnesty “is not the solution to anything”, since it will be the judges who will end up applying it, and he warned that it could serve to “whitewash” the State if it causes appeals in European courts decline. He has also rejected it Pesarrodona, who has asked why this amnesty should be requested, and that, in any case, it should be “a total amnesty.”
