Making 080 Barcelona Fashion a meeting point for fashion creators and artists to explore new forms of expression, beyond the fashion shows, is one of the goals of the Catalan catwalk. This is why management refers to 080 as a “multidisciplinary platform that drives the transformation of the fashion sector through innovation and creativity”.

The 33rd edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion, which ends today at the modernist site of Sant Pau, has been a success in terms of attendance and proposals. Full house in all the parades, which could only be entered by invitation, but also in the Village, the area open to everyone, which these days has become a must-visit point for lovers of fashion, music and digital art. Basking in the sun – the weather has cooperated -, chatting, drinking a drink and dancing to the rhythm of the DJs. In short, a place to meet and to express yourself through fashion.

In this sense, the novelty of this edition has been 080 Aesthetics, a digital exhibition located in the Pavilion of the Puríssima, which has brought together artists from different fields, but which unites them having worked in the fashion or music industry and to have set a trend The exhibition was commissioned by the creative studio Misato Kindness and brought together the work of Andrei Warren, Bryan Huynh, Hans Reyes, Jon Emmony, Miroslav Perkovik

New technologies, together with sustainability and inclusion, are the intrinsic values ??of the catwalk, which yesterday had as its star show, and within the calendar, that of the firm Free Form Style, dedicated to inclusive fashion. “We believe that the brand proposal is very balanced. This mix between established and emerging companies reflects the creative landscape of the sector, without forgetting industry and business. These two different visions can help brands”, says the director.

Coca concludes that the dates of the 080 celebration outside the international calendar will remain: “They have given us visibility and increased the interest of influencers and international media”.
