Store prohibit new christmas songs: – The staff was insanity

In the English gin-shop York Gin has it gone so far that the store brand has banned the playlists with the christmas carols, because the staff was good old-fashioned tired of the Wham! and company.

– Our lovely staff are happy for the decision. They say that several on the team have already been insanity over the same christmas songs on repeat, says the store’s director, Emma Godivala.

– We love christmas, but we want our business to be free of the kind of ‘cheesy’ music. We have tried and tested, the singer works, and what songs that sounds weird in the store. And we have come to find that everything after the 1960’s are banned, says Emma Godivala.

the store manager Sandie Tanner-Smith assures also that the employees do not have to hear the same christmas carols.

We are sure that our playlists now are so broad that no one shall hear on the same song two times in a week, she says.
