the aircraft manufacturer Boeing sets in January temporarily the production of aircraft of the type boeing 737.

This was stated by Boeing in a press release.

Boeing’s 737 MAX aircraft has since march been subject to a ban in the whole world.

the Ban came after two crashes in, respectively, Indonesia and Ethiopia. They happened within five months and claimed a total of 346 people life.

There is no view, that the flight ban be lifted preliminary, writes the news agency Reuters.

In the middle of november it sounded otherwise from Boeing that the 737 MAX aircraft could be on the wings again in January.

the Decision to suspend production has been taken by Boeing’s board of directors after a two days long meeting in the american city of Chicago.

We have previously indicated that we would evaluate our production plans, if the MAX-flight ban would last longer than expected, writes Boeing in the message.

– As a result of this evaluation, we have decided to give priority to the delivery of the aircraft, we have standing, and temporarily stop production next month.

It is unclear when Boeing will resume production of the 737 MAX aircraft.

Since the flight ban against aircraft was issued in the spring, the company has each month produced an average of 42 aircraft of the type boeing 737.

As a justification to set the output type Boeing among other things, that there is uncertainty about when the planes are allowed again to fly.
