During this intense electoral campaign of 28-M, Pedro Sánchez insists on trying to take the political initiative and impose his agenda on an Alberto Núñez Feijóo whom the Socialists see “in the wake” of all the initiatives of the President of the Government. And he does it with a clear commitment to the social agenda as a great electoral claim. To his successive announcements to increase the number of public housing in Spain, as a down payment for the young vote, the leader of the PSOE has added another relevant proposal this Saturday, unveiled at the rally that he has staged in Pamplona, ​​on this occasion regarding professional deformation.

Sánchez has assured that the best way to try to reduce youth unemployment, which continues to be one of the main problems in the labor market in Spain, is to commit to strengthening Education, the University and, fundamentally, Vocational Training, and align it with the change in production model that it has ensured that it is promoting with reindustrialization policies thanks to European funds. And he has announced that the next Council of Ministers, to be held on Wednesday of next week, will approve an injection of more than 1,300 million euros to reinforce Vocational Training “even more”.

The President of the Government recalled that 6,600 million euros have already been invested throughout this legislature and the Vocational Training law has been approved. And with these new 1,300 million euros, he has indicated that bilingual vocational training places will be increased by 45,000, 824 new digital training centers will be created, and more than 1,500 applied technology and entrepreneurship classrooms, which are 50% more than that exist, “so that our kids, when they leave vocational training, come out with all the qualifications to be able to be employed and, why not, to be able to create a company”. “There is the future!”, Sánchez has cried.

“We are creating more and better jobs, but we are not satisfied. We can create more ”, they point out in the Government. “And the best tool is to bet on quality VET, like the most advanced countries in Europe. That is why we approved the new FP law and that is why we are going to make the biggest bet on FP that any government has ever made”, they highlight.

Pedro Sánchez has made this announcement during the rally that he has staged this Saturday before 1,200 supporters in Pamplona, ​​precisely one of the capitals that the PSOE has in its electoral target for the appointment with the municipal and regional polls on May 28. Together with the head of the Executive, the president of Navarra, the socialist María Chivite, who is also running for re-election on March 28, and the PSN candidate for mayor of Pamplona, ​​Elma Saiz, have spoken at this Fiesta de la Rosa , until now Minister of Economy and Finance of the Navarre government, who aspires to evict the current mayor, Enrique Maya, who in 2019 regained his position as head of the Navarra Suma list, made up of UPN, the PP and Ciudadanos, now broken. She also intends to block the way for the previous mayor, Joseba Asiron, from EH Bildu. Saiz, for this reason, has presented her candidacy against “the independence movement and the right.” The meeting was also attended by Ferraz’s organization secretary, Santos Cerdán from Navarre, and the leader of the Basque socialists, Eneko Andueza.

In the intense electoral pre-campaign in which Sánchez is immersed, already with three or four rallies a week, the PSOE leader is drawing the map of squares that he tries to retain, from Seville to Fuenlabrada, or that he intends to recover on 28-M, as is the case of Pamplona, ​​or Malaga, where he already plans to star in an electoral act next Tuesday together with the socialist candidate, Dani Pérez, who aspires to unseat the veteran mayor of the PP, Paco de la Torre.
