Musician sir Elton John and a host of other prominent persons, have briefly been leaked their addresses by mistake.

Leaked happened in connection with the british New Year’s Honours, where a series of selected individuals recognized the end of the year.
More than 1000 addresses were evidenced by a document on the uk government’s website of the persons to be honoured.

The british government has confirmed and apologized leaked.
– A version of the New Year’s Honours the 2020 list that included people’s addresses, was released by mistake. The information was removed as quickly as possible, says a spokesman from the government to the BBC.
Sir Elton John was knighted in 1998. He is now a member of the Æresriddernes Order for his contribution to the music.
The two film directors Sam Mendes and Steve McQueen, who have both received an academy award, will this year be knighted.
Sam Mendes was in 2000 awarded an Oscar for the film ‘American Beauty’, while Steve McQueen in 2014 received an Oscar for ’12 Years a Slave’. McQueen became the first black director to receive an Oscar, writes the BBC.
