It was Johnny Hansen himself, who sat behind the steering wheel on the way to rock candy concert in Hedensted, when suddenly there came a spøgelsesbilist against him in the dark on the highway late Friday afternoon.
He had set the autopilot on the 130 km/h, that you are allowed to run on the line, and beside him sat the band’s bassist Jørgen Hein Jørgensen and looked at his phone.
– I see some light, but I think that it is over in the right side of the field. So it is only at short distance, 100 meters, I discover that it is in my path, just in the opposite direction. Then suddenly it is just there. It is a split second, Johnny says Hansen about the meeting with spøgelsesbilisten.
– I was afraid something shocked. I had to just to call home and talk with Gitte (his wife, ed.) in order to get an outlet for it all. It was close, that the family should have life insurance paid out.

There were other cars on the road but not much traffic. Subsequently, Johnny Hansen thought much about the fact that he, just before he met spøgelsesbilisten, had found that there was a truck and some passenger cars, a good 500 meters in front of them in the first lane, as he should overtake.
it Had been a minute or two further on, so I had been on the side of them. So had it really been crap, he says.
In the rearview mirror he could see that the police was a piece behind and started the flashing blue lights, so they could not alert them.
It is not the first time that Johnny Hansen has met a spøgelsesbilist on the highway.
– I’ve tried it once before a night on the motorway at Aarhus South. But there we were warned, because we had heard on the radio that there was a spøgelsesbilist. There we drove in the hard shoulder and waited for them to come, he says.
Johnny Hansen, Kandis conducted the concert in Hedensted, as agreed. But when he came home, but he forced just the wife and talked the experience through.
