– There came something good out of a bad situation. I remember it. He called David Nielsen, and we have contact to this day. I kicked hard, and I hit him right in the head. I ran immediately to see what had happened.

It was obvious that there was something in the way. After the match I asked the doctor what was going on, and I got the message that it was not good. I have strong feelings about it here. People later wrote that I saved his life, but… It was a very emotional experience for me.

David had an even worse period of time afterwards, and he went through a long rehabilitation. I have met him many times since, and not so long ago, where I had a difficult time, he wrote a message to me. It is one of those stories that evokes the greatest feelings in me says Kamil Wilczek to the Polish media Laczy Nas Pitka.

In the interview tells Kamil Wilczek, among other things, that he hopes to score lots of goals going forward for Brøndby IF, and that he would very much like to be the most scoring foreigner in League history.
