Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro get married. After three years of relationship, the couple of artists has decided to take the step and announced their engagement yesterday. It was quite a surprise the way they announced it. Yesterday the Catalan singer and the Puerto Rican released their first work together, RR (their initials). An EP (extended play), with three tracks: Beso, Vampires and Promesa, which deal with the different phases of love.
There is only a video clip of Beso, assembled with romantic images of the couple in their private lives, which seem to have been recorded by themselves with their mobile phones over the course of 3 years. And at the end comes the surprise, when Rosalía tearfully shows the engagement ring that Rauw Alejandro has given her. “Oh, my God. And all the mascara in here,” she says excitedly as she shows the jewel on her ring finger and holds what appears to be the red case. “I love you,” she says before kissing her boyfriend. The ring is a classic design in white gold with a central diamond and brilliants forming triangles on the sides.
After the publication of the video clip, social networks have been filled with congratulations. At the moment neither Rosalía nor Rauw Alejandro have spoken about the wedding or when the engagement took place or how it was.
This same week, Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro gave an interview to Ibai Llanos for his Twitch channel: “Will you get married?”, the streamer wanted to know. Rosalía said laughing: “Oh, Ibai. What things you have, seriously! You are like my grandmother. My grandmother always says to me: ‘Well, so what'”.
Rosalía (30) and Rauw Alejandro (30) met in 2020 while recording the song Dile a él, included in the album Afrodisiaco, the Puerto Rican’s first album. At that time, the singer from Sant Esteve Sesrovires had already published El mal querer and was an international star thanks to Malamente or Con altura
But it wasn’t until September 25, 2021 that Rosalía published the first photo with Rauw Alejandro in celebration of his 28th birthday. And on November 11 of that same year, they took a photo together for the first time at the LOS40 awards gala, in Palma de Mallorca.
Shortly after, the couple bought a small modernist mansion, Mas Morera, in Manresa, which can become their definitive home once they can complete the renovation.
