Rauw Alejandro dedicates a song to Rosalía

It seems that Shakira has created a school after criticizing the flaws of the breakup with Gerard Piqué in the well-known Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53. Now, Rauw Alejandro, who last summer recorded with Shakira herself Te felicito (the first song about the separation of the singer and the ex-football player), has done the same, but with a different tone.

On Thursday night, two weeks after the separation of the Puerto Rican singer with Rosalía was made public, Rauw Alejandro unexpectedly released Hayami Hana, a five-minute song full of regrets, justifications and targeted confessions to the Catalan artist.

The title, Hayami Hana, which has no literal translation in the otaku slang (movement of manga lovers) means “girl of great beauty, unusual or rare”. It would be the first dedication to Rosalía, because she has always declared that Japan is the country that fascinates her the most.

“For if we never talk again, and my favorite eyes don’t look at me again, this is what I do when you want to remember your stupidity that I really loved you. And I’m not going to be strong. I’m not going to face it. Here everyone knows that I’m going to mourn you, I’m going to miss you.” Rauw Alejandro begins the song with these words. In the following stanzas, he explains that they have argued, several times, that he has flaws, but that Rosalía does too, although, according to him, this is not a reason to break up: “We have argued, me cuesta expresarme. You know all my shortcomings, I also have to put up with your things, but I never thought I would let go. And what a pity that the couples don’t last anymore, they last only a little, there are only a few old men left, who can tell us their tricks”.

In the song, he explains some of the ups and downs they’ve had because of fame, of a life they lead that “isn’t for everyone”. “The press, the networks, group pressure, being far away is more difficult, easier together. Trabajamos sin parar, pero ¿hasta qué punto?”, says the artist, who also claims that he has never been unfaithful to her, and denies that this was the cause of the separation.

“I gave you everything and I would do it again. I’ll finish our little house in case you feel like coming back. Today I stop writing to you, not wanting.

Finally, he looks at the professional career of the Catalan artist and li desitja all things good: “I know you’re going to be the best artist, it’s just that another one like you really doesn’t exist […] If just by listening to your voice, the sea calms down from any torment, thousands of people think the same. What will come next, I don’t know, but I know that all the Grammys will be for you…”.

“You are genuine, you are amazing, you are pure joy, you are medicine. You heal my heart, all those nights at home dancing to our song, and if life brings me together with you on another occasion, I don’t argue with fate for the reason”, Rauw Alejandro also sings, and assures that Rosalía is the seva motomami.

Quite a statement that has caused thousands of comments on social networks, although music critics have been a bit harsh on the subject. Now, fans of the ex-couple, who announced a few months ago that they were getting married, are waiting for Rosalía’s response to this love letter signed by Rauw Alejandro.
