Jakob Ellemann-Jensen is already underway to clean after Lars Løkke.
It says Extra the Magazine’s political commentator Henrik Qvortrup, after the former on Wednesday came forward, that the party secretary Claus Richter is the past in the Left.
It had come, it was not a question of whether he should go, but when.
– It is a natural part of Jakob Ellemann-Jensen’s cleanup in the party, says Henrik Qvortrup.
Claus Richter was employed as the whole of the Liberal party secretary, but it is generally known that he was one of Lars Løkke Rasmussen’s close support.
Jakob Ellemann-Jensen was on Saturday crowned as president at an extraordinary national congress, and with the same set of the cleaning in time. Tuesday was leadership genkonstitueret, where he nibbled gruppeformandsposten from Kristian Jensen, and Wednesday, Claus Richter therefore resigned his position in the party.
In connection with Lars Løkke Rasmussen’s magnificent tv appearances told the former Left-president, Claus Richter was present during the mascot conversation between Kristian Jensen and Lars Løkke Rasmussen in the basement in the Odense Congress Center in 2014. Richter is thus directly connected with the episode, this summer eventually ended up with creating big divisions in the party and the cost Loop and Jensen their items.
It is, according to Qvortrup, one of the overriding reasons why Ellemann-Jensen has wanted Richter out.
– Now he’s admittedly gone though, but I wonder if Ellemann has been inside of.
– He will part with anything that smells of the old Left, says Henrik Qvortrup.

According to Claus Richter, while it was a difficult decision to leave Left after barely eight years in the post.
– We have been through the most difficult time in the party’s history, and now we must look forward. The left needs to have a new start, and therefore I have decided that it is time for the Left to have a new party secretary.
– the Resolution has in no way been easy, for my heart beats still for the Left, but it is the right thing. Jacob (Ellemann-Jensen, red.) should put his own team, and I wish him all the best with it, as with everything else, says Claus Richter in a press release.
