Polling station hours in Catalonia: Until what time can you vote?

The 5,754,840 Catalans who this coming Sunday, May 12, will have the opportunity to exercise their right to vote in the Parliamentary elections will be able to do so at the polling stations for 11 uninterrupted hours: voting begins at 9:00 a.m. and concludes at 8:00 p.m.

For these elections to take place, the Tables will have to be established between 08:00 and 08:30 on Sunday itself, when the president and the members will fill out and sign the act of constitution of the Table.

Once this constitution document has been issued, voting will begin at nine o’clock, only after the President of the Table pronounces the words “voting begins.”

If there is an interruption of the voting at the table due to some formal error or fraud, it cannot last more than one hour, and the voting will be extended for as long as it has been interrupted.
