More than eight million people visited the centers and temporary exhibitions of the La Caixa Foundation during 2023, a figure that represents an increase of 13.19% compared to the previous year with milestones such as the 1.2 million people who passed by the CosmoCaixa Science Museum.

Precisely, the museum in the upper part of Barcelona broke its historical visitor record and surpassed the previous year’s visits by more than 50% thanks to exhibitions such as The science of Pixar, which attracted 434,789 people with the detailed descriptions about the creation of characters such as Buzz Lightyear, Wall-E or Mike Wazowsky and Sully, protagonists of Monstruos Another attraction was the Dinosaurs exhibition of the , which was visited by 185,228 people.

CaixaForum Valencia was, with 899,339 visitors, the second center for the number of visits in the entire network thanks to exhibitions such as Apollo or Mòmies d’, rediscovering six lives. CaixaForum Madrid took third place, with 655,422 visitors, and the exhibition Gods, Magi and Sages was the one that attracted the most public, with 121,766 people. For its part, the center of Barcelona received 483,852 visitors with the Mummies exhibition being the most visited, with 94,190 visitors. In total, the centers of the CaixaForum network, together with the Science Museum, registered 4,349,926 visitors, while another 3,807,567 million people approached the traveling exhibitions held in 73 cities throughout Spain, adding in total more than 8.15 million visitors.

Looking ahead to 2024, CaixaForum has presented 34 exhibitions that can be visited in 80 cities in Spain and Portugal, where exhibitions such as Art i stand out, which can be visited until January 14 at CaixaForum Barcelona with works by Picasso, Kandinsky, Miró and Paul Klee.
