the Rumors have buzzing the last time, but now it’s completely official. The former Danish international Frank Arnesen will become the new technical director of Feyenoord.
It confirms the Dutch club on its website.
– Feyenoord is a great club, but it is not just, therefore, that I look forward to working in Rotterdam. The time just feels right, sounds from Frank Arnesen.
On the website noted, moreover, that Arnesen starts in mid-January, where he takes over the bar from Sjaak Troost, who has had the job temporarily.
– A look at Frank’s RESUME says it all. He is a person with many years of experience in big european clubs and in different positions. He has an eye for youth and comes with a big network. Frank Arnesen has all the knowledge and the skills to build a secure future for Feyenoord, says chairman of the board Toon van Bodegom.

Frank Arnesen was a few months ago fired from a similar position in the belgian Anderlecht. Before then, he has been in senior management positions in a variety of clubs. Including big clubs such as PSV Eindhoven, Tottenham, Chelsea and Hamburger SV, while it also has been a short stay in the Ukrainian Metalist Kharkiv and the Greek PAOK.
the 63-year-old Arnesen reached 52 matches for Denmark from 1977-1987 with 14 scores to follow. As active, he played among others in Ajax, Valencia, Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven.
