The 6,167 polling stations installed in the Valencian Community have been set up this Sunday with complete normality and in a “quick and effective” way, as reported by the Government delegate in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé.
The Government delegate explained that there have only been minor incidents, such as “some dismissal” from someone who had forgotten the tablet, but in general it has been one of the “fastest” table constitutions that were remembered in this data center.
Bernabé has also reported that all the members of the tables have attended, so it has not had to resort to people who had not been summoned in the first instance, and they have been constituted with total normality.
Asked if there has been a greater influx of voters first thing in the morning compared to other previous elections, Bernabé replied that these data have not been provided.
The Government delegate has transferred the recognition to all the people who have been appointed members of the polling stations for their commitment and for their rapid effectiveness when constituting the polling stations.
In the same way, he also thanked the work of the more than 3,000 Administration officials who have worked in the Community to guarantee that effective constitution of the tables, and of the more than 9,000 agents of the State Security Forces and Corps who will ensure the safety of the day.
A total of 3,727,999 people from the Valencian Community are called to today’s elections (1,990,911 in Valencia, 1,306,271 Alicante and 430,817 in Castellón).
Likewise, 181,765 people have asked to vote by mail, a record high due to the coincidence of the elections with the summer holidays.
